AK Trading – Return & Exchange

Return & Exchange Policy

AK Trading reserves the right to refuse any returns or exchanges at any time. The terms and conditions of this policy may change without prior notice.

No refund accepted on the merchandise. Refund on a deposit is accepted within 7 days following the original date of the deposit. Following this period, no refunds on deposits are allowed, only an AK Trading Home Options Inc. credit note will be issued. Final sales at all times on: demonstrators, gift cards, clearance items, end of collections, parts, maintenance products and all services.

Exchanges accepted only under the following conditions:

  1. Under mandatory presentation of proof of purchase;
  2. Solely within 30 days following the date of purchase or order;
  3. The merchandise must be returned in its original condition and packaging (unopened);
  4. Any open box, where the merchandise is unused and undamaged, can be exchanged, but generates a non-refundable fee of 50% of the merchandise’s cost.

Merchandise purchased online can be exchanged under the above conditions at any AK Trading Home Options location. Shipping fees are applicable at all times and are at the expense of the customer, even if the items are credited or exchanged. If the customer benefit from free delivery, shipping fees will be charged upon receipt of the return or on any new delivery of merchandise (new or exchanged). The customer is responsible for any loss or damage that may occur during transportation of the returned merchandise. A secure transportation service is recommended.

Quote & Layaway

Quotes are valid for 7 days, without possibility to be combined with any other promotions. Minimum deposit of fifty percent (50%) is required on any layaways or orders. Full payment (100%) of the invoice is required upon receipt of the merchandise at AK Trading sites or before any delivery.

Online Purchases 

Online purchases are subject to the same policy hereinabove mentioned.

Shipping fees are applicable at all times and are at the expense of the customer, even if the items are credited or exchanged.

If the customer has benefited from free delivery, shipping fees will be charged upon receipt of the return or on any new delivery of merchandise (new or exchange).

The customer is responsible for any loss or damage that may occur during transportation of the returned merchandise. A secure transportation service is recommended.
